Snowbirds 40th Anniversary Weekend
The evening continued with a formal ceremony in which Lieutenant-General (ret’d) Fred Sutherland handed over his position as Honourary Colonel of the Snowbirds to Mr Michael Potter of Vintage Wings of Canada. Lt.-Gen Sutherland held the position of Honourary Colonel of this famed team for over 16 years, one of the longest tenures by an Honourary Colonel.
