After 20 years of dedicated and loyal service to the CF and the Communications and Electronics Branch, Major Caroline Chouinard will retire on the 25th of June 2010.
Major Caroline Chouinard joined the CF in Montreal, QC and went on to RMC to obtain a Bachelor degree in Chemical and Material Engineering. After completion of CELE (land) training, Major Chouinard served in a variety of operational, command and staff positions in numerous locations including 1 CDHSR in Kingston, 12 RBC in Valcartier, RMC in Kingston, 742 Sig Sqn in Edmonton, JTFC-LCFA HQ in Toronto. Her final posting has been with ADM(MAT) as the System Engineer for the Integrated Soldier System Project (ISSP).

Caroline, Sandy and their three children will remain in Gatineau until Sandy’s career relocates them. Caroline’s intention is to stay home with the kids at least until they are all in school.

Après 20 années de bons et loyaux services aux FC et à la Branche des communications et de l’électronique, le Major Caroline Chouinard se retirera des FC le 25 juin 2010.
Le Major Chouinard s’est enrôlé dans les FC à Montréal, QC et a poursuivi son chemin au Collège Militaire Royal de Kingston pour obtenir son baccalauréat en génie chimique et des matériaux. Après avoir complété sa formation de génie électronique et des communications (terre), le Major Chouinard a occupé de multiples postes opérationnels, de commandement et d’État-major à plusieurs endroits, incluant QGRT 1ère Div CA à Kingston, 12 RBC à Valcartier, CMR à Kingston, 742 Esc de Comm à Edmonton, et le QG FOIC-SCFT à Toronto. Sa dernière affectation a été avec SMA(MAT) en tant qu’ingénieur des systèmes pour le Projet d’équipement intégré du soldat (PEIS).
Caroline, Sandy et leurs trois enfants demeureront à Gatineau jusqu’à ce que la carrière de Sandy les réaffecte. Caroline a l’intention de rester à la maison au moins jusqu’à ce que tous les enfants soient d’âge scolaire.
Un repas organisé en son honneur aura lieu le 18 juin 2010 à compter de 11h30 à 14h00 au restaurant Bistro St-Jacques, 51 rue St-Jacques. Lori-Ann.Lozyk@forces.gc.ca
