What: Garry “Sky” King Memorial Walk / Jog-A-Thon (3km or 5km jog – or vice versa)
When: 14 Aug – Registration begins at 12 noon; Walk / Jog begins at 1230
Where: The Little Cataraqui Conservation Area (2km north of the 401 on Division Street)
Join friends and family for a complimentary barbeque back at the King residence following the main event 75 Deer Creek Drive: 6 km north of the Conservation Area
Why: in honour of the late 5820 Garry “Sky” King (RMC 1963) who fought a courageous battle with thymic cancer.
All proceeds will be donated to the Kingston Cancer Centre (Cancer Centre for Southeastern Ontario; a division of Kingston General Hospital) where Garry was treated during his illness.
