16412 Gordon J. Clarke – Steps Down as Club President…
Dec 8, 2010
Members of General Council,
It has been an honour to serve as the president of your Club for the past fourteen months.
My day job is now at a critical juncture which requires my undivided attention for the next several months and I am no longer to be able to properly discharge the duties of being president of the Club at the same time.
Therefore, I am tendering my resignation as president of the Royal Military Colleges Club of Canada, effective immediately.
The Club is about mutual support and camaraderie and I thank all of you for having shown me much of that over the many years I have been privileged to serve the Club.
I know that Cdr. Dave Benoit will serve the Club well as my successor.
Thank you.
16412 Gordon J. Clarke, P.Eng.

The Commandant and CCWO had the opportunity to drop by and visit the College Information Services department this past week. Under the great leadership of LCol John Adamczyk and with great support from his tremendous team, the CIS department have done an incredible job keeping the College ‘connected’ throughout 2010.
The CIS team have also been progressing many new initiatives that will situate the College for the future in a face paced IT world, while still ensuring the continued high level of service currently enjoyed.. In the short term, they’ll be busy over the next few months with a major IT life cycling project.
Well done to the team!

The annual Commandant’s ‘At Home’ presented a wonderful opportunity for the Commandant, ’College Mom’, Principal and CCWO to meet and pass holiday greetings to the College team.
The SSM was packed with representation from across the College. The head of each wing took the opportunity to recognize a ‘star member’ of their team who received a Commandant’s coin. It was an enjoyable afternoon of friendship and high spirit as the College steps closer to the Xmas break.
