Up early and set off by bus for Ottawa. The snow was pretty deep so we were kept busy changing cleats to mudders all the way on the bus. Had a steak dinner at the Gloucester St RCAF mess and then over to Lansdowne Park for the game with Ottawa U. Before the game snow plows were cleaning the field but they didn’t finish in time and the game was played on a half-plowed field. It was an exciting game because of quite a few fumbles. The boys found it hard to hold on to the ball. We finally won out 12-10. Afterwards while eating at the Chateau Laurier I ran into Mr. and Mrs. Walter Little who took it upon themselves to entertain me so I spent a very interesting evening with them. Then at 2300 we started back for the college.
