9201 Maj David WF Widdows (CMR RMC 1972) DGME/ACME 3 retired from the regular force on 22 Nov 08 after 41 years of loyal and dedicated service to the CF and the MILE branch. Maj Widdows joined the CF on 01 September 1967 and graduated from CMR St-Jean in 1970 and Royal Military College Kingston in 1972. In September 1972, he was assigned to CFB Borden, ON. Following his Borden posting he was Station Construction Engineering Officer at Canadian Forces Station Gypsumville, Manitoba from 1975 to 1978. He was then posted to Air Command Headquarters, Deputy Chief of Staff Military Engineering from 1978 to 1986. During his tour in Winnipeg he completed a Masters in City Planning from the University of Manitoba. In 1986 he then was posted to CFB Winnipeg as Requirements Officer. In 1988, he proceeded to Ottawa and became a project manager with the North American Air Defence Modernization project. (PM NAADM). In 1991 David was posted into the ADM(IE) organization where he held various positions such as, Section Head Base Development Planning, Environmental Engineer with Director General Environment and finally with Assistant Chief Military Engineering in Direction General Military Engineering. Upon his retirement, David and his wife Arlene will remain in the Ottawa area. He has accepted a civilian acting position in DGME/ACME.

11712 Vice-Admiral Drew Robertson CMM, MSM, CD, (CMR RMC 1978) Chief of the Maritime Staff, will retire from the CF Regular Force in 2009. 11330 LGen Angus Watt CMM, CD (CMR 1977) Chief of the Air Staff, will retire from the CF Regular Force in 2009. He enrolled in 1972, graduated from College Militaire Royal de Saint-Jean in 1977 and was trained as a pilot.  Click HERE for full biography.

11921 Commodore Roger MacIsaac, CD, (RRMC RMC 1978) Director General Military Careers will retire from the CF Regular Force in 2009. He completed his first two years at Royal Roads, then continued his studies at Royal Military College in Kingston, Ontario, and graduated in 1978 with a Bachelor of Economics degree. 12141 Rear-Admiral Bryn Weadon, CMM, CD (CMR 1979), Assistant Deputy Minister Finance and Corporate Services and Senior Financial Officer for National Defence, will retire from the CF Regular Force in 2009. 12545 Brigadier-General Camil Giguère CD (RMC 1980), Director General Land Equipment Program Management, will retire from the CF Regular Force in 2009. He enrolled in the Canadian Forces in 1975 and graduated with an Engineering and Management degree from the Royal Military College of Canada, Kingston, Ontario in 1980.
