“The statement of behaviour and the clarifying action statements are part of an initiative to reinforce the college motto of Truth, Duty, Valour amongst the Cadet Wing. The clarifying action statements are used to demonstrate “what right looks like” in the Cadet Wing. The ten statements were chosen as they incorporate varying elements of Truth, Duty, and Valour, and relate to areas that need reinforcement in the day to day conduct of the Wing. The intent is to amend the statements each year based on what is relevant to the Cadet Wing, or if there is a particular area that a command team feels needs work. There is nothing new contained in the statement of behaviour or the clarifying action statements, this is simply a new format to keep these ideas in the minds of OCdts as they develop into officers of distinction.”

Statement of Behaviour:
“We, the Officer Cadets of the Royal Military College of Canada, devote ourselves to developing the moral integrity required of an officer by living the creed of: Truth, the quality to speak and act in an honest and straight forward way; Duty, the obligation to comply with directives and do what is right; and, Valour, the moral courage to perform our duties rightly in difficult situations.”
Clarifying Action Statements:
1. We always behave in a manner that reflects the core values of both RMCC and the CF.
2. We are courteous and respectful towards everyone with whom we interact.
3. We vigilantly comply with all RMCC regulations and directives.
4. We maintain a high standard of uniform and civilian dress by ensuring to dress smartly and sharply.
5. We uphold the “no tolerance” harassment policy and follow CF protocols to resolve any issues.
6. We attend our places of duty promptly, and are never absent without permission.
7. We pursue academic excellence with the know-how that makes lifelong learning productive and pleasurable.
8. We are active on a daily basis striving for the highest standards of physical fitness.
9. We improve our fluency daily by using our second language often.
10. We take responsibility for our actions and correct ourselves, our peers, and our subordinates if our actions are deficient.

Les énoncés de clarification
1. Nous agissons toujours de manière qui reflète les valeurs du CMR et des FC.
2. Nous somme courtois et respectueux envers les personnes avec qui nous interagissons.
3. Nous respectons toutes les directives et réglementations du CMR.
4. Nous maintenons un haut standard pour notre uniforme et pour le choix de nos vêtements civils en s’assurant de s’habiller intelligemment et proprement.
5. Nous renforçons la politique de tolérance zéro en ce qui concerne le harcèlement et suivons le protocole des FC pour résoudre les problèmes.
6. Nous sommes aux endroits où nous devons être afin de faire notre devoir et nous ne nous absentons jamais sans permission.
7. Nous poursuivons l’excellence académique avec les connaissances qui rendent l’apprentissage à la fois productif et plaisant.
8. Nous sommes actifs à tout les jours dans le but d’atteindre le plus haut standard de conditionnement physique.
9. Nous améliorons à chaque jour notre bilinguisme en utilisant fréquemment notre langue seconde.
10. Nous prenons responsabilité pour nos actions et nous nous corrigeons ainsi que nos camarades et nos subalternes si nos actions sont déficientes.
