To all the members of the RMC Club Vancouver Branch – both serving military and ex-military. Thank you for your service. The Abbotsford Airshow (Aug 9, 10 & 11 2024) is pleased to offer complimentary Walk-in General Admission to active & retired military members of Canada and her Allies this year. No ticket is required, please show a valid military or veterans ID at the walk-in gate at Chinook Aviation ( 30660 Rotor Dr.) for entry. Walk-in admission is only available on Saturday and Sunday (not Friday)
For other ticket types such as Presidents’ Club, Flight Club and Photo Pit, and carload/vanload admissions, we are pleased to offer an exclusive military discount. Please contact us at info@abbotsfordairshow.com with proof of military service (photo of military ID or NDI75 Record of Service) to obtain access to the discount. Please note that the military ID must match the ticket purchaser’s name and will be required to be shown at the event entrance. The discount is available for spouses, children and guests but these must accompany the member into the show.
Headliners are the USAF F-22 Raptor demo which has to be seen to be believed (the aircraft is capable of incredible power and astonishing maneuverability), the CF Snowbirds and RCAF CF-18 Hornet demonstrations, the Skyhawks Para demo team, NORAD F-16 Intercept display, Melissa Burns in her Edge and a host of warbirds.
We would recommend that people shouldn’t wait too long to purchase tickets as some venues are already sold out (campground, Family Club) and others will be soon.
