The Royal Military College of Canada invites applications for potential faculty members for full-time, part-time and contract positions, both onsite in Kingston, Toronto with the Canadian Forces College, and the Royal Military College of St Jean, and for distance learning, in the Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Engineering. For part-time employment and contract positions, the salary/compensation range is normally between $3,500 and $10,000 for each one-term course depending on the level of the course. Tenure Track Position Chemistry & Chemical Engineering
The Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of the Royal Military College of Canada invites applications for one tenure track position at the level of Assistant Professor, or at a more senior level for suitably qualified candidates. The Department is seeking candidates with a Ph.D., or one nearing completion preferably in the field of Chemical Engineering or Engineering/Applied Chemistry. Candidates must be able to establish and maintain an independent and competitively funded research program. Candidates must be able to teach courses in the Department’s undergraduate Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Ammunition Engineering programs. Preference will be given to candidates with postdoctoral, academic or industrial experience in the field of ammunition engineering. Various language requirements will be considered for this position. The Mechanical Engineering Department of the Royal Military College of Canada invites applications for a tenure-track position associated with the new Aeronautical Engineering programme in the field of Aircraft Structures, Structural Dynamics and Materials or with the existing Mechanical Engineering programme in the field of Vehicle Systems and Performance. This position is at the level of Assistant Professor (UT-02), although appointment at the Associate Professor level (UT-03) may be considered for an outstanding candidate. The required qualifications are a PhD or its equivalent in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university at the time of appointment; acceptable undergraduate and postgraduate teaching experience in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering or an acceptable combination of teaching experience and industrial experience in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering. Acceptable experience conducting research with a strong or promising record of publications is also required. The Electrical & Computer Engineering Department of the Royal Military College of Canada invites applications for a tenure-track position at the level of Assistant Professor or, for exceptionally qualified candidates, at the level of Associate Professor. The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department is seeking to strengthen its expertise in the Computer Engineering Program in the areas of Computer Architecture, Computer System Design, Multiprocessing and Multi-core Systems, and Fault Tolerant Computers.
