On 14 June 2024, Major Anand, RMC Class of 2015, had the profound honour of assuming command of Alpha Squadron at the Canadian Forces Network Operations Centre. He wrote on his LinkedIn profile that “this significant milestone humbles me with the privilege of leading Canada’s premier cyber defence force.”
Alpha Squadron is the vanguard of Canada’s cyber defence force. They are tasked with a crucial mission: to defend our Canadian Armed Forces and Department of National Defence networks against the most sophisticated and persistent threats.
