Retirement – 10815 LCol André Corriveau (CMR / RMC ’76)
LCol André Corriveau retired from the CF on 7 Sept 07 after 36 plus years of loyal and dedicated service to the CF and the CME Branch. André has accepted a Realty Asset Management Engineer position with Canadian Forces Housing Agency (CFHA) and will reside in the Ottawa area with is family.
André enrolled in the Canadian Forces and entered CMR in1971. He served in 5ieme Regiment de Genie de Construction, BCE section CFB Borden, was the SCEO CFS Sioux Lookout followed by his appointment as the BCEO CFB Comox. He followed this with staff positions at CFTSHQ, AIRCOMHQ (twice), career manager, ADM (IE) (twice), RMC (DCSS) and CANADA COMMAND.
There will be a Retirement ceremony held in his honour on 19 March 08 in the Astra Lounge of the Royal Canadian Air Force Officers Mess, 158 Gloucester Street, Ottawa, Ontario. The ceremony will start at approximately 1300, but all are invited to join André around 1200 for a light luncheon. A soup and sandwich bar will be available in the Astra Lounge for a small disbursement of $4,95. Those wishing to attend are asked to contact Maj Steven Bélanger prior to 10 March 08 in order to confirm their attendance to the ceremony and the preceding luncheon.
