The RMC athletics department held their annual varsity clubs awards ceremony on Tuesday, March 25 to celebrate the accomplishments of its members.
The two major award winners this year were Abhiraj Sarin and Sophie Marshall, who were both named varsity club athletes of the year.
Sarin, a member of the Paladin’s judo team, earned the honour in his fourth year at RMC.
Marshall, a fellow fourth-year, became the second consecutive RMC swimmer to win the award after the honour went to her teammate, Hanna Mountford.

Le mardi 25 mars dernier, le département des sports du CMR a tenu sa cérémonie annuelle de remise de prix des clubs universitaires afin de célébrer les réalisations de ses athlètes.
Abhiraj Sarin et Sophie Marshall ont été les deux grands lauréats de cette année, étant nommé athlètes de l’année des clubs universitaire.
Sarin, un athlète de l’équipe de judo des Paladins, a obtenu cet honneur au cours de sa quatrième année au CMR.
Marshall, aussi en quatrième année, est la deuxième nageuse consécutive du CMR à remporter ce prix après que l’honneur a été attribué à sa coéquipière, Hanna Mountford.
