H4860 General (ret’d) John de Chastelain (RMC ’60) will be the guest keynote speaker at The 20th Commonwealth Humanitarian Gala Dinner – Friday, April 25, 2008. The Dinner will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Ottawa. John will speak to “Building Peace – Lessons from Northern Ireland”.
Over the past 20 years the Royal Commonwealth Society’s Commonwealth Humanitarian Gala Dinner has raised over $180,000 for Commonwealth countries and causes through the voluntary effort and dedication of Society members.

Tickets are modestly priced at $80 for members ($85 for non-members), which includes a $25 charitable receipt. Tables of 8 and 10 are available.
