3589 Dimock, Bevil Church (RMC 1956)

Dimock, BevilGraduate of Royal Military College (1956), RCAF (1952 – 1973), CF-100 Pilot & Instructor Peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, following a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s, on Thursday, December 24, 2009 at the age of 76 years. Beloved husband for 53 years of Janet (née Bethune). Dear father of Sandra Dimock (Garry), Linda Dimock (Peter) and Brian (Lorena). Proud grandfather to 6 grandchildren. He is also survived by his twin brother Barry (Erik), and many other extended family and friends. Though Bevil had 3 rewarding careers in his life time, the highlight was when selected as part of the Special Canadian Space Indoctrination Program with the US Air Force Space and Missile System Organization in Los Angeles (1966 – 69). The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Longfields Manor staff for their care and support. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean (between Bayshore Dr. and Baseline Rd.) on Sunday, January 10, 2010 from 1:00 pm until time of service which will be held in the Chapel at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Parkinson ’s Disease Society or RMC Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

TOYE, LCol John R., C.D. On Sunday, January 3rd, 2010 at the age of 73. Beloved husband of the late CAPT. Wyna M. Toye. Father of the late Patty Schofield, David, Susan and daughter-in-law Susan Philchuk. Cherished Papa of Gavin, Ben, Sam and Hannah. Brother of Jackie and Jeannie. John will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Visitation will take place on Friday, January 8th from 10:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m., in the Sacred Space at 280 Beechwood Avenue at Beechwood National Military Cemetery. Interment to follow immediately, followed by reception. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Ottawa General Hospital for all their patience and loving care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Network or Epilepsy Canada.

Rodney Hull13057 Rodney  Hull (RMC 1953) Q.C. LSM. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rodney on Tuesday December 8, 2009. He is survived by his wife Anne Stuart Hull (nee Mackersy), his children Brian and his wife Nancy (Andrew and Stuart) Wendy and her husband Jim (Jimmy Mac), Ian and his wife Kirsten (Jack, Gavin and Emma), Michael and Jeffron (Tasker, Kenzie, Duncan and Holly), Mary and her husband Bob (Connor). He will be sadly missed by his brother Toby Hull and his wife Lindsay. A celebration of Rodney’s life was held on Friday December 11,  at Eglinton St. George’s United Church

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Rodney’s memory to Camp Awakening, 204-150 Eglinton Ave. East, Toronto, ON. M4P1E8. Arrangements were entrusted to the NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL 416-745-7555.
