19787 Derron Bain (RMC ’95) – recently promoted to the position of Vice President, Project Delivery, with the Ontario Infrastructure Projects Corporation (Infrastructure Ontario). Infrastructure Ontario is a crown corporation playing a leading role in one of the most robust infrastructure development programs in the country. Infrastructure Ontario uses a model called Alternative Financing and Procurement (AFP), which leverages the strengths of both the private and public sectors in the delivery of hospitals and government facilities. The corporation has been assigned more than 45 major infrastructure projects by the Government of Ontario. Derron received his BA in Economic and Political Science at the Royal Military College, a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Dalhousie University and a Graduate Certificate in Project Management from Royal Roads University. Following his service in the Navy, Derron was employed with the Government of Nova Scotia, followed by the Government of Ontario. Derron, his wife Julia and two daughters Paige and Emilie live in Burlington.
