RMC coach Adam Shell to guide Serbia at world championship

Late Breaking News, Monday night:

Serbia wins first game, 13 -1 over Ireland at the IIHF Division II world hockey championships in Miercurea Ciuc, Romania on Monday.

Serbia (1-0) is slated to play Romania on Tuesday, followed by games against Israel (Thursday), Belgium (Friday) and Bulgaria (Sunday).

adam1.jpg Serbia will be competing at the IIHF Division II world hockey championship in Miercurea Ciuc, Romania, April 7-13. The Head Coach for the team is our own Adam Shell. He played junior A hockey with the Shelbourne Wolves and Thornhill Rattlers before enjoying four solid seasons with the Redmen. Prior to arriving at RMC last summer he spent two years as an assistant coach at McGill.

Teams competing against Serbia in the tournament will be Belgium, Bulgaria, Ireland, Iceland and Romania.
