Sunset Ceremony
This year’s Sunset ceremony included presentations from many RMC clubs and teams. The night started off with a sword and rifle drill routine by the Precision Drill team. It was directly followed by sword fights by the Varsity Fencing teams, wood breaking roundhouse kicking by the Varsity Tae Kwon Do team as well as throwing and cheering by the Cheerleading team. The Sandhurst team also showed off by repelling down from Fort LaSalle and a CH-146 Griffon on the parade square. We were also amazed and amused by the Old 18 drill and rifle battle presentation. Getting closer to its end, the ceremony was taken over by the RMC Band accompanied by our Highland Dancers to entertain our visitors like they used to long ago before the lowering of the flags. The ceremony was ended by the Flag Party Passover with a hundred-man guard.
