Dans le cadre des festivités célébrant le mois de février, le Collège militaire royal du Canada s’est illustré en participant, pour une 41e fois, au tournoi historique de joutes d’hockey sur glace opposant notre équipe à celles du 2e Régiment d’artillerie royale du Canada basé à Petawawa et de l’Université Queen’s. Tentant de l’emporter pour une cinquième année consécutive, l’équipe pilotée par 24346 Paul McBean et composée de 24518 Paul Mayne, 24860 Tyler Spice, 24686 Michael Soros, 24137 Bradley Spencer, 24261 Michael Stark, 24603 Michael Crosier, 24288 Lee Burrows, 24592 Jeffrey Caselton et 24292 Cameron Chapman a, tout d’abord, défendu son titre avec brio en défaisant l’équipe du 2e RARC 4 à 1. Toutefois, lors de la seconde partie, le CMR s’est incliné au compte de 1 à 0 face à l’équipe de l’Université Queen’s qui avait égalisé 3 à 3 auparavant contre les joueurs de Petawawa. Dans la défaite, Jeffrey Caselton a été nommé joueur le plus utile à son équipe en ce qui concerne le CMR.
As part of the Feb Fest activities, RMC was represented for the 41st time in the annual historical hockey games against Queen’s University and the 2nd Royal Regiment of Canadian Artillery (Pettawawa). RMC was off to a great start by defeating the RRCA 4-1 however in the 2nd game, they were defeated by the Queen’s U. team 1-0. This year’s team was composed of: 24346 Paul McBean et composée de 24518 Paul Mayne, 24860 Tyler Spice, 24686 Michael Soros, 24137 Bradley Spencer, 24261 Michael Stark, 24603 Michael Crosier, 24288 Lee Burrows, 24592 Jeffrey Caselton and 24292 Cameron Chapman.

Queen’s wins 23rd Annual Carr-Harris Cup
The Queen’s Golden Gaels beat the Royal Military College Paladins 1-0 to win the 23rd annual Carr-Harris Cup at the Kingston Memorial Centre Saturday night.
With the win, the Gaels (11-13-3) moved two points ahead of Ottawa Gee-Gees for the final playoff spot in the
Ontario University Athletics East. However, the Gee-Gees defeated the University of Toronto Varsity Blues Sunday afternoon – to move back into a tie.
The Gee-Gees have three games left in their season, Carleton; McGill and Ryerson. The Gaels have only one – Friday, 7:30 PM against RMC (8-17-2) at Constantine Arena.
Queen’s also could qualify for the playoffs by tying Toronto for first in the OUA’s Mid East Division. But for that to happen, the Blues would have to lose their final two games, against Waterloo Warriors and Ryerson Rams. Queen’s HAS to beat RMC.
Paladins have an opportunity to finish their 28 game schedule on a positive note by playing the spoilers role with a win; wiping out any slim chance that the Gaels have of moving on to post season play.
