3293 Mr Gordon Louis Kilger (RRMC RMC ’54), 76 passed away on April 15,
2008, in Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. He attended the
University of Winnipeg, becoming an electrical engineer, then attended
Royal Military College in Kingston, Ont., where he was enrolled in the
ROTP. He later went on to Royal Roads in Victoria B.C. and served as a
fighter pilot in the air force. He was an employee at Michelin Tire,
Granton, for 25 years. Gordon was very musical, playing piano and
clarinet, and was fluent in English, French and German. He is survived
by his wife, the former Helene Foley, New Glasgow; 2 daughters, 2 sons;
eight grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Donations in his
memory may be made to Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia. more
