(Jeudi 25 mars 2021) Le Colonel Nicolas Pilon, commandant du Collège militaire royal de Saint-Jean, a procédé à la nomination de l’Adjudant-chef Rick Plante au poste d’adjudant-chef du CMR Saint-Jean. L’Adjudant-chef Georges Martin lui a cédé sa place lors d’une brève cérémonie, à Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Québec, le 23 mars 2021.
(Thursday, March 25, 2021) Colonel Nicolas Pilon, commandant of the Royal Military College Saint-Jean, appointed Chief Warrant Officer Rick Plante to the post of Chief Warrant Officer of RMC Saint-Jean. Chief Warrant Officer Georges Martin ceded his place to him during a brief ceremony, in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, on March 23, 2021.

(Mercredi 31 mars 2021) Cette semaine, nous vous présentons le profil de Hanna Mountford qui a obtenu le statut d’athlète exceptionnel au CMR Saint-Jean.
Initiée à la natation dès son jeune âge, elle joint pour la première fois une équipe compétitive à l’âge de 5 ans. « À l’âge de 12 ans, je me suis qualifié pour les essais olympiques et j’ai continué à me qualifier chaque année par la suite. »
En 2020 Hanna Mountford avait de nouveau l’ambition de se qualifier pour les essais olympiques. La COVID 19 en a voulu autrement, les Jeux olympiques qui devaient avoir lieu à Tokyo ont été remis en 2021. Repoussant les essais et modifiant même le processus d’admissibilité. Si le monde du sport a été bouleversé, le quotidien de Hanna a également été modifié puisqu’en septembre 2020, elle faisait son entrée au CMR Saint-Jean en pleine pandémie.

(Wednesday, March 31, 2021) This week, we present the profile of Hanna Mountford who achieved exceptional athlete status at RMC Saint-Jean.
Introduced to swimming at an early age, she first joined a competitive swim team at the age of 5. “At the age of 12 I qualified for the Olympic trials and continued to qualify each year after.”
In 2020, Hanna Mountford once again had the ambition to qualify for the Olympic trials. COVID-19 willed it otherwise; the Olympic Games scheduled to take place in Tokyo have been postponed to 2021. Trials were postponed and even the eligibility process changed. While the world of sport has been turned upside down, Hanna’s daily life has also changed since in September 2020, she entered RMC Saint-Jean in the midst of a pandemic.
