(Mercredi 14 avril 2021) Les 10 et 11 avril, tous les élèves-officiers du CMR Saint-Jean ont pris part à un exercice de tir dans les secteurs d’entraînement de Farnham. C’était l’occasion pour plusieurs d’entre eux de manier une arme personnelle (carabine C-7) pour du tir réel. Pour d’autres, c’était l’occasion d’exercer leur leadership en supervisant leurs pairs et en leur prodiguant des conseils sur les techniques de tir. Cet exercice de tir réel visait à préparer une majorité d’élèves-officiers pour le cours de qualification militaire de base (QMBO) auquel il prendront part cet été. Pour d’autres c’était une occasion de maintenir leurs compétences de tir en vue d’autres entraînements d’été auxquels ils prendront part.
(Wednesday, April 14, 2021) On April 10 and 11, all O/NCdts from RMC Saint-Jean took part in an exercise in the Farnham training areas. It was an opportunity for many of them to wield a personal weapon (C-7 rifle) for live fire. For others, it was an opportunity to exercise their leadership by supervising their peers and advising them on shooting techniques. The purpose of this live-fire exercise was to prepare a majority of officer cadets for the Basic Military Officer Qualification (BMOQ) course in which they will take this summer. For others it was an opportunity to maintain their shooting skills for other summer training they will take part in.
