2013 First Year Obstacle Course
Historically the day the Obstacle Course is run the weather is not good; even nasty at times. Hopefully, this is a good omen for the Class of 2017. The day was beautiful and full of sunshine, much contrasting to the dirt and water that coated the cadets involved. The Obstacle Course consists of 12 obstacles, each one being the responsibility of a particular Squadron. The obstacles range from rope bridges to tasks carrying sandbags and even a 12 foot wall. The nature of the obstacles also demanded that teamwork and motivation be used at all obstacles to succeed and bring every team member through. The course ended in tears of relief followed by a presentation of the first years student coins (engraved with their student number) and a good old RMCC pier jump. We hope to release all the results next week!
