Join your fellow ex-cadets 13-14 September in Victoria BC for this year’s Royal Roads University Homecoming Weekend on the most beautiful campus in Canada. Homecoming Weekend has been an annual event since 2001 and is intended for all alumni of Royal Roads, whether as a naval college, a tri-service college or a military college. Homecoming Weekend is intended for ex-cadets of the pre-1995 military era; whereas the Reunion Weekend scheduled in the month of May is intended for those who attended during the post-1995 civilian university era.
Online registration is not yet available but is anticipated for late-June or early-July. For now, this announcement serves to inform and remind you of the event and hopefully attract a good turnout of ex-cadets.
Registration opens on 2 July with on-campus accommodations now available at competitive rates. Information can be found at this link – Copy and paste in your browser: https://www.royalroads.ca/alumni/alumni-events/homecoming-2025

Paver Stone Project
Situated on the site of the former Vice-Commandant’s house, since 2010, is the Memorial Plaza. There, you will find the former naval flag mast that was moved from the Castle front entrance and now commemorates Royal Roads Military College and its students and staff who served between 1940 and 1995. Nearly 1200 engraved granite paver stones have been laid surrounding the naval mast. This project is one of the main fundraising efforts for the Military Heritage Fund, which promotes the restoration, maintenance and interpretation of the military heritage of Royal Roads.
