The Class of 1962 Agrees to Fund Grad Frames for the Class of 2021

Some of you may remember that last year the Class of 1962 provided funding for the Class of 2020 commission scrolls and degrees frames.  The RMC Foundation and the Commandant  would like to once again thank the Class of 1962 for their contributions to these frames along with the scarves and ties as they were very much appreciated by the graduates.

From 5604 Ken Smee, Class of 1962 Secretary

“I must say that it is hard for me to imagine how the graduating cadets must have felt last June when they were unable to participate in any of the fun parties that we had when we graduated, nor the grad ball, nor the grad parade, nor the convocation, nor the presentation of commission scrolls.   I am happy to report that the funds necessary for this project have already been committed.”

The Class of 1962 has been a huge supporter of the Officer Cadets of the Military Colleges.  Their Class Endowment purchases ties and scarves annually for the graduating Class at RMC.  Recently they have included a second purpose in their Endowment to now support Recreational Clubs at the RMC.   The Class of 1962 currently ranks 1st in Class Lifetime Cumulative Giving with $4,904,325.35 donated from 128 donors.
