WHEN: The ceremony will take place from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on Thursday, October 7th, 2010.
WHERE: The ceremony will take place at the corner of Byng Ave. and Signal Ave. (CFB Kingston).
The general public is invited to attend this unique building dedication ceremony. Those wishing to attend are asked to be seated by 11:30 a.m.
This event is notable as it is the first defence infrastructure named in honour of a soldier killed during operations in Afghanistan. In attendance will be the Dawe family with a contingent from Capt. Dawe’s regiment – Princess Patricia Canadian Light Infantry, VIPs, representatives of other Government Departments and dignitaries, to include the Right Honourable Adrienne Clarkson, former Governor General of Canada.
