BRANCH NIGHT AT THE RACES 18 APRIL, 2008 (A “Spring Thing”)

ONLY 80 SEATS RESERVED – Please respond early

This is one of the finest buffet dinners served in Eastern Ontario

Please ask your non-member friends and family to join us.

As agreed by a vote at the Feb luncheon, the Branch has planned a “Night at the Races” at the Rideau Carleton Raceway on Friday, 18 April, 2008. TIMINGS: The first race starts at 1830; Cocktails and social hour at 1800 hrs; the buffet dinner for our members and their guests will start at 1900 hrs. A cash bar and wines for purchase will be available. (Example – $24-$26 per btl for house “Kitling Ridge”)

The cost is $40.00 PER PERSON and that includes ALL TAXES AND GRATUITY AND THE FOLLOWING:

  • Free valet parking
  • Ottawa Branch Club Reception & Information Desk in foyer of the Race Club House.
  • Prime seating in the 650 seat panoramic dining room for THE OTTAWA BRANCH
  • A fantastic all-you-can-eat dinner buffet including tea or coffee
  • Complimentary race programs
  • A race dedicated in honour of The Ottawa Branch, RMC Club
  • “Winners Circle” presentation including a photo with the winning horse
  • Public address announcement by the track announcer welcoming The RMC Club and our guests, a welcome message on the infield tote board and on the cover of the evening’s program which will become your souvenir of the evening.

A PORTION OF THE PROCEEDS WILL BE DONATED TO THE RMC CLUB FOUNDATION.

(NOTE: All visitors to the RCR dining room must be at least 19 years of age with valid Government issued photo identification). Please have your spouses bring ID too.

An application form is attached. Please complete it and forward it to JR Digger MacDougall by 2 April, 2008 along with your cheque to JR MacDougall, 73 Elm Cres, Stittsville ON K2S 1R7. Cheques should be made out to RMC Club of Canada – Ottawa Branch
