This year, the Royal Military Colleges of Canada Alumni Association proudly celebrates a remarkable milestone: Mary Darlington’s 25th anniversary with the organization.
Since 2000, Mary has been a welcoming and steady presence at the RMC Alumni Gift Shop and office in Kingston. Over the years, she has become much more than an office manager—she’s been a trusted point of contact for thousands of Officer and Naval Cadets, alumni, staff, and visitors. Her warm professionalism, deep knowledge of the Colleges, and dedication to the alumni community have made her an integral part of the RMC experience.
Mary’s role has evolved alongside the organization itself, including through the 2021 merger that created the unified RMC Alumni Association Inc. Through each transition, she has remained committed to supporting the mission of the Association: building connections, preserving traditions, and fostering leadership.
Whether helping alumni find a memento, greeting high school students on campus visits, or supporting reunion and graduation activities, Mary’s impact is felt across generations. Her work exemplifies the values of service, continuity, and community that define the RMC alumni network.
