Peacefully, at his home with his family at his side on Saturday, November 10, 2012, at the age of 52. Cherished husband of Lauren Dupasquier. Loving father of Alana (David Beaudoin Fortin), Brian, and Kaylie; and will be missed by their mother Tammy Greaves. Beloved son of Bill Greaves and Marlene (Dennis) Anderson. Dear brother of Carol, the late Christine Young, Cory, and Laura Elliott. Rob is survived by many nieces and nephews and will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him. “Classmates will remember Rob as a member of 6 Squadron (Brant), played Varsity Rugby and was a member of College Pipes & Drums band. He served in the Canadian Forces in Esquimalt and Ottawa before joining Ottawa City Police in 1989. A year ago, serving as a Staff Sergeant with Ottawa City Police, he was in good physical health and was preparing for an international police support mission in Afghanistan when diagnosed with a brain tumour. He fought gallantly but unfortunately succumbed due to the disease.”
