Thanks for these! The recruit obstacle race photo is from 1975 (Class of 79) with Bill Panter in back and Sid Allison out front (comment on our website – “So glad we decided not to wear our whites!”). I believe the second last photo might be from RRMC circa 75/76, and if so, Larry Richardson wrote about that exercise on our website, an anecdote which eVeritas re-published recently at the following link:
You correctly identified Bill “Pitter” Pander climbing over the log during the 1975 obstacle course, but I believe the front runner in the photo is Dan “ useless “ Eustace. Perhaps other frigateers can confirm my identification?

Hey John I think you are right. I checked the Frigate pre-race photo and Sid has an “S” and Dan a “T” on their shirts (as part of the word “Stone”) and looks like the guy in front has a “T” so likely Dan as you think..
