It is with great sadness that we report that former Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) H2951 General (ret) Ramsey Withers passed away on 24 December. At the time of his death he was the Honourary President of the RMC Club of Canada.
Current information indicates that the Withers family will plan for a Visitation 1700-2100 hrs, 9 January, and also 1100-1300 hrs 10 January. There will be a “Celebration of Life” 1300-1400 hrs and Internment at 1400 hrs on 10 January.
This will all occur at Beechwood Military Cemetery, Ottawa.
We expect further details soon and a formal obituary will be posted when available.
