Dear fellow alumni and voting members,
We are delighted to invite you to the annual meeting of the voting members of the Royal Military Colleges of Canada Alumni Association Inc. (the “RMCAA”) to be held at the offices of Stikeman Elliott LLP, 199 Bay St., Toronto, ON, M5L 1B9, on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at 10:00 hours (Kingston, Ontario time). Following the meeting, there will be a short presentation by management. See “FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS” below or “THE MEETING” on page 1 below for the Zoom details for the meeting.
While we would normally seek to hold the Meeting at RMC in person, there is a lack of appropriate meeting space with video conferencing capabilities available on the RMC campus. As a result, the board of directors of the RMCAA (the “Board”) elected to hold the Meeting in person in Toronto, and to have the above Zoom link available for those who cannot attend in person. Details on how to attend the meeting and how to vote are provided in the enclosed Circular.
Whether or not you are able to attend the meeting, we would encourage you to read the enclosed Circular and to vote. Voting members who have any questions or who need assistance voting may contact us by telephone at 1-844-216-6765 or by email at info.eVeritas@gmail.com .
Please note that voting at the meeting is limited to voting members of the RMCAA. If you are not currently a voting member, there is no better time to join. Simply call us at the above noted telephone number or email us at the above noted email address to join.
On a more personal note, as I prepare to turnover my responsibilities as Chair of the Board of Directors, I would like to thank you for your support over the past year of exceptional change, starting with the merger of the RMC Club and the RMC Foundation last fall. I look forward to continuing to serve the Association as Past-Chair and anticipate the outstanding leadership of my Vice-Chair, 17203, George Lundy, Class of 1990 who is expected to be elected as my replacement.

Nous cherchons normalement à tenir l’assemblée en personne sur le campus du CMR, mais celui-ci n’offre pas d’espace de réunion suffisant doté de capacités de visioconférence adaptées. Le conseil d’administration de l’Association des ancien(ne)s des CMR (le « conseil ») a donc choisi de convier les membres votants à Toronto et de fournir le lien Zoom ci-dessus pour ceux qui ne pourraient pas s’y présenter. Vous trouverez dans la circulaire ci-jointe la marche à suivre pour assister à l’assemblée ainsi que les modalités du vote.

Sur une note plus personnelle, alors que je m’apprête à céder mes responsabilités de présidente du conseil d’administration, j’aimerais vous remercier pour le soutien que vous m’avez offert au cours de la dernière année marquée de changements exceptionnels, à commencer par la fusion du Club des CMR et de la Fondation des CMR l’automne dernier. C’est avec plaisir que je continuerai de servir l’association en tant que présidente sortante, et je crois que vous pouvez vous attendre à un leadership exceptionnel de mon vice-président, 17203 George Lundy, de la promotion de 1990, qui devrait être élu pour me remplacer.
