Congratulations to the Class of 2025 from the Class of 1978
Advice I gave my daughters: show up on time, do your job, and you will be in the top 10%. They did and they are. And my lesson learned: say yes to opportunity, if you don’t, someone else will. Oh, and having recently taken some city college credit classes I will add: Spend more time listening than transmitting. It’s amazing what you will learn.
Letter to the Graduating Class of 2025 From the Class of 1979
Congratulations to you all! All your hard work and studying has paid off. You are now graduates of the Canadian Military Colleges. A fine distinction. You have made it through some of the best training there is for modern life – whether military or civilian.
BRAVO ZULU! to the Class of 2025 of Canada’s finest educational institution and military academy from the Class of 1980
Always remember your classmates, the ones you studied with, played sports with, and trained with during the summers, including those with whom you didn’t associate or see eye-to-eye. Remember all the recruits with whom you began this journey, yet who moved on before graduation; they are your classmates too. Keep in contact with your entire group, for you form an exceptional network of professionals who share a unique bond, and you can call on each other in the years to come.
To the Class of 2025 from the Class of 1984
Congratulations on completing such an important milestone in your development as an officer in the Canadian Armed Forces. Although it was many years ago, I can still remember my pride in marching off the parade square for the very last time. One thing I have taken with me from that day is the connection with…
To the graduates of RMC, Class of 2025 — congratulations from the Class of 2002
Our class is uniquely placed to state the following: RMC is perhaps one of the best places to prepare you for the “unpreparable”. Our class — the first to graduate following the tragic events of September 11th — joined our more senior alumni on missions we never imagined so soon after graduation. We’ve seen classmates lead combat operations on the ground, conduct air sovereignty operations, and sail in naval operations off the Horn of Africa, all in support of critical efforts in the War on Terror.

Class of 1970 Athletics Wall of Distinction Ceremony
The Athletics Wall Of Distinction (AWOD) was established to honour those who have brought distinction to the Canadian Military Colleges (CMC) through significant achievements and contributions in sport while at a CMC and/or following graduation throughout their athletics careers. The AWOD program was conceived by the Class of 1970 and is supported through an endowment funded by the Class to honour its entry into the Old Brigade in the fall of 2015.
History Project Coin Presentation from the Class of 1980
Canada’s contribution to the War on Terror, our longest War at just over 12 years, was our first NATO Article 5 commitment. The LAV we see before us was a centerpiece of Canada’s efforts in Afghanistan, and the Class of 80 thought it was important to provide a monument to provide a focus on Canada’s contribution.
Final Approach: A Test Pilot’s Story of Caring for Loved Ones – Jonathan Knaul, PhD, P.Eng, CD Class of 1991
There’s no manual for taking care of a loved one. Final Approach is a guide and the story of taking care of each of my parents, suffering from cancer and dementia, through to their passings. The book includes their extraordinary life stories: Marie, my British/Canadian mother who lived through the London Blitz and assisted at the evacuation at Dunkirk at age 16.

A New Chapter in Membership: Moving Beyond Paid Dues
This is more than a policy change—it’s a cultural shift. We are moving from a transactional model to one rooted in connection, service, and shared purpose. Our alumni community is diverse, dynamic, and deeply committed to the values of leadership, service, and excellence. By removing barriers to participation, we are building a stronger, more inclusive RMCAA—one that reflects the spirit of our colleges and the future we envision together.
