Chris you were right in guessing someone from the family had planted the shameless plug for RMC into my daughter Kendra’s question when you conducted the wet wash cloth experiment. I would like to extend a most sincere thank you for the tremendous way in which you have represented our college and our military during your time on the ISS.

It has been an amazing experience following your space travels on facebook, tweeter and you tube. It felt like we were tight there with you. You are an extraordinary teacher and inspire everyone, adult and children alike. We all know a lot more about many space phenomena and how the human body works in space. You truly encompassing all that Canada has to offer and are an extraordinary role model. The advise you gave to children during one of your broadcast is so relevant:
“Decide in your heart of hearts what really excites and challenges you and start moving your life in that direction. Every decision you make, from what you eat to what you do with your time tonight turns you into who you are tomorrow, and the day after that. Look at who you want to be, and start sculpting yourself into that person. You may not get exactly where you thought you’d be, but you will be doing things that suit you in a profession you believe in. Don’t let life randomly kick you into the adult you don’t want to become.”
If we all lived by these words, there would be a lot more happier people on Earth. Thank you for your teaching and sharing your space experience with us at such an intimate level. You have not only increased the support for space exploration, but for everyone to do their best and work towards what they believe in, an inspiration for all!
