As promised in a previous article, I present you a video showcasing those skydivers who are training for their CSPA (Canada Sports Parachuting Association) A, B and C Licenses. A video highlighting the Solo license program (those who have no previous experience) will be created for your viewing pleasure after the exam period.
Now that all of these cadets have become addicted to the sport of skydiving, they plan on starting to jump as soon as the drop zone opens on the April 5-6th weekend. Weather and temperature will dictate if these cadets can jump or not on all the future weekends. However, as soon as there are warm blue skies these cadets will be raking up as much time at terminal velocity that they can afford.
There also is a skills competition in the works by the local dropzone Skydive Gananoque. This event is for all the skydivers to compete in the areas of Formation Skydiving and Landing Accuracy. It will be a great opportunity for the cadets to test the skills they have developed and learn valuable lessons for their future jumps.
