Remembrance Day & Rugby in Ottawa

For Remembrance Day the rugby team sent fifty members to attend the ceremony at Beachwood Cemetery. The rugby team was the second group to march on parade under the command of the 2IC OCdt. Christopher Pratt, and once on parade was relieved by the IC and rugby captain OCdt. Aaron Barry. The team represented RMC very well at the ceremony with sharp drill, nice uniforms and good deportment. The ceremony was well attended and had five Griffins fly over top.
Following the parade, the team boarded the bus again to drive to their game against the University of Ottawa. The game started off with a quick try for RMC, and then followed by a few more being scored by RMC. In the first half UofO didn’t have an answer for the tenacity and aggression that RMC possessed. However, in the second half they came out stronger in an attempt to meet RMC. In the end, UofO’s attempt to answer failed, resulting in a strong win from the RMC Paladins.

Pour le jour de souvenir l’équipe de rugby a envoyé cinquante membres à la cérémonie aux cimetière Beachwood. L’équipe de rugby était le deuxième groupe a marché sur parade sous commande du 2IC Élof Christopher Pratt et quand ils étaient sur parade Le IC et capitaine de l’équipe, Élof Aaron Barry, a pris commande. L’équipe de rugby à bien représenter le CMR a la cérémonie avec le bon drill, les uniformes propres et le bon comportement. La cérémonie a attiré beaucoup de monde et avait les griffons qui ont volé au-dessus.
Après la parade, l’équipe a ré-embarqué l’autobus pour conduire à leurs jeux contre l’Université d’Ottawa. Le jeu a commencé avec une vite essaie par le CMR et était suivi par quelques autres. Dans le premier demi, l’UofO n’avait pas une réponse la ténacité et façon agressive dont le CMR jouait. Après une pause, le deuxième demi a commencé avec une réponse par l’UofO. Enfin, CMR a réussi une grande victoire contre l’Université d’Ottawa.
