SUNDAY, 28 Dec 2025 – “Host-the-Cadets” Luncheon at the Union Club of BC.

It has been 30 years since cadets marched off the parade square at Royal Roads Military College (RRMC). And at the end of August 1995, RRMC officially closed its doors.

To honour the rich 55 year military history of Royal Roads (1940-1995), the Vancouver Island Ex Cadet Club (VIECC) will be holding a celebratory brunch on Sunday 26 October from 1000-1300 on the iconic Quarterdeck in Grant Building at Royal Roads University. This will be an opportunity to exchange stories, relive memories, remember the history and enjoy the beauty of Royal Roads. It will also be an opportunity to recognize the significant and mutually beneficial relationship between ex cadets and Royal Roads University over the past 30 years.

The event is open to all ex cadets and the former staff/faculty of RRMC, RMCC and CMR. Note that the museum in the Castle will be open from 1300-1430 following the brunch to give you an opportunity to see the memorabilia and artefacts of Royal Roads as a military institution, in the recently refurbished museum.

The cost of the brunch will be $50 pp (includes tax, gratuity and parking) and the recommended dress for ex cadets is blazer and tie or business casual. Dress for guests is business casual.

Annual General Meeting RMC Alumni Association – October 29 2025

The AGM will be held on October 29^th at 1700 hrs at the RMC Saint-Jean Salle Grand Fort Room, 15 Rue Jacques-Cartier Nord, Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec J3B 8R8.

The Board has set aside one hour for general discussion of RMCAA business. If any member or Branch has business for discussion the topic as well as a brief explanation of importance should be submitted to the RO before October 15th, 2025. Preference will be given to topics submitted by Branches or topics of general interest to members.

La priorité sera accordée aux questions soumises par les chapitres ou aux questions d’intérêt général pour les membres.

This event will take place at the Armour Heights Officer’s Mess 215 Yonge Boulevard, Toronto Start time is 18:00 for 18:30.

We have a room set aside for this event. Friends and spouses welcome. Oyster-eaters and non-oyster eaters welcome. We will have food available, including chowder and a limited number of oysters.
