The Royal Military College Hockey Alumni Association and the Royal Military Colleges Alumni Association are excited to host the RMC Hockey Alumni Ticket Package as part of the 40th Anniversary celebration of the Carr-Harris Cup taking place on Saturday February 7th, 2026 at the Slush Puppy Place in Kingston Ontario.
This year marks 140 years of hockey at RMC which started with one of the first recorded hockey games in Canada when the Royal Military College and Queen’s University faced off for the first time on 10 March, 1886 in Kingston Harbour in front of City Hall. Additionally this years game will celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Carr-Harris cup, which was inaugurated in 1986 to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the first RMC vs Queens game and the contributions of the Carr-Harris Family to both institutions.
Do not miss this exciting weekend celebrating the RMC Hockey Program. Join alumni, family and friends to cheer on the Paladins and witness some fantastic USports Hockey. With a just a few weeks until the 40th Anniversary game of the Carr-Harris Cup, the RMC Hockey Alumni continue to try to build on the weekend to make it enjoyable for all Alumni to come to Kingston for a weekend of shared memories.
We have just been able to confirm that we have secured ice time at the Slush Puppy Place on Saturday 7 February 2026 at 2pm for an Alumni Shinny game. Ethan Coltart (RMC 2023) has stepped up to coordinate activities for the Alumni Game.
If you are able to make it to Kingston for the weekend and are interested in getting out on the ice to share some memories please feel free to contact me directly and I will get you in contact with Ethan. Additionally if you know of former teammates in the Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Kingston areas who may be interested help get the word out for the event.
After the Alumni game, those who have purchased tickets can make their way right over to the Holiday Inn Waterfront to rehydrate and grab a meal before heading back to the rink in time for puck drop.
