The CF Sports Awards program was established to recognize personnel of the CF who have earned fame and brought honour to the CF and Canada in the field of sport. By extension, each environment selects command athletes of the year who are then considered for selection as CF athletes of the year in their respective categories. These award winners will be formally honoured at the CF Sports Awards ceremony, which will be held in Ottawa on 24 October 2009.

Congratulations to all the sports awards recipients on achieving a standard of excellence in your respective sports. The recipients of the 2008 Chief Military Personnel sports awards who are presently at RMC are:
