11920 McInnis, Daniel Joseph Age 58, Drum Head, passed away peacefully after a short but aggressive battle with cancer on Saturday May 23 2015, in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Danny was born in Glace Bay and was a son of Joseph and the late Mary (Bray) McInnis.
As a 17 year old boy Danny joined the Military attending RRMC and RMC. He had a career for 21 years as an Air Weapons Controller, having his last posting in Winnipeg where he met his wife Judy and they took their retirement.
Danny moved to Drum Head where they built their dream home overlooking the ocean he loved so much. He then went on to a second career at StFX University filling numerous positions finishing as Associate Registrar and filling the role of Registrar twice.
Danny worked hard to achieve his dream of early retirement and spent the rest of his time traveling the world with Judy. His happiest times were on a warm sunny beach. Danny is survived by his wife Judy Burke, son Daniel (Venus) McInnis, Brandon MB; daughter, Angela (Justin) Counter, Ottawa ON; grandchildren, Daniel, Benjamin, Brooklyn and Eric. He is survived by his father, Joseph McInnis and siblings: Mary (Ryu) Yokoo; Anne(Nigel) Kelly; Andrew (Xiaoping) McInnis; Theresa (Kevin) Wile; Vivian (Scott) Collacutt; Gerard McInnis; Eileen (Monty) McInnis. Danny was predeceased by his mother Mary McInnis and his brother Michael McInnis (in infancy).
In keeping with Danny’s wishes, a private service will take place on Friday. Memorial donations in Danny’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. RCNC 46 Robin (Rob) 1925 – 2015 Sadly, on April 28, 2015 in Duncan, BC, we said goodbye to Charles Robin (Rob) Manifold. Rob was born in Calgary on July 11, 1925 and grew up in North Vancouver BC. He graduated from the Royal Canadian Naval College, at Royal Roads, in 1944.
After graduation Rob was posted to serve with the Royal Navy for the balance of WWII, at the end of the war, he returned to service in the RCN until his retirement in 1971 as a Lieutenant Commander. In 1950 Rob married Sheila Challice in Halifax NS. He joined the Esquimalt Lions Club in 1969 and eventually served as Zone Chairman and the District Governor for Lions District 19-I.
Rob is predeceased by his loving wife Sheila, and is survived by his sons Rick and Geoff, his daughter-in-law Dodie, 6 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service is being held at First Memorial Chapel, 4725 Falaise Drive Victoria, on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the charity of your choice.

7544 Gregory Radczenko
Greg passed away suddenly and unexpectedly early in the morning of May 12, 2015, at the Ottawa long-term care residence where he had lived for several years. During these years of seriously failing health Greg was supported and assisted with kindness & compassion by 7505 Andy Rapoch.
Predeceased by his parents, Greg is survived by his sister, Ludmila, and her daughter, Marlena, to whom he was a generous and loving uncle.

The funeral for 26999 Officer Cadet Sage Fanstone was held Saturday (30 May) in Langley, B.C. From sunrise to sunset on that day, flags at the Royal Military College of Canada were flown at half-mast to mark his passing.
Cadets in scarlets, with senior College leadership representation by the DCdts – LCol Mark Popov, fulfilled the “Farewell with Respect” duty at the well attended funeral.
There was a small, Irish-style wake following the funeral service.
