The 3rd Annual Women in Defence and Security (WiDS) Scholarship Luncheon will be held March 25, 2010 at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier, Drawing Room. S148 General (ret) Rick Hillier will be the keynote speaker and will present the WiDS Memorial Scholarship Award to this year’s successful candidate, Carole Gabrielle Prevost. This year, the scholarship award has been renamed the WiDS Memorial Scholarship and will be presented in honour of women in defence and security who have fallen. For 2010, 14491 Colonel Karen Ritchie (RMC 1985) , who died October 13, 2008 from injuries sustained in a car accident, will be honoured.

This event will be a great opportunity to come out and meet our talented scholarship winner, and be inspired by the best-selling author, General Hillier, who is well known for his ability to entertain and motivate others.
