On September 17, 2026, the Royal Military College of Canada welcomed the riders of Le Tour des Collèges as they completed their remarkable commemorative journey in Kingston. Led by alumni known as the “Older Eighteen,” this approximately 500-kilometre charity cycling event travelled from RMC Saint-Jean to RMC via Ottawa, celebrating the 150th anniversary of RMC and the 75th anniversary of RMC Saint-Jean. More than a ride, Le Tour des Collèges honoured the enduring legacy of Canada’s military colleges and the values of leadership, service, and commitment while bringing alumni and supporters together in support of future generations. The primary purpose of the Cycling Project was for the team to raise $150,000 in support of the Royal Military Colleges Alumni Association. As the riders passed through Ottawa on Monday, September 14, the Ottawa Branch presented a $10,000 cheque at its BBQ in support of the campaign. The campaign will continue until December 31, 2026, and has raised $156,588 to date. Funds raised will be directed equally to the Museum Project and the Truth, Duty, Valour Fund, supporting both Colleges and preserving their legacy for future generations.
