Commandant Salutes II Year Class Project
I would like to take this opportunity to shine some light on our second year class who, with their recent Food Drive, executed one of the finest class projects in recent memory. The planning was exemplary, the execution superb, and the results spectacular. The 20,000 pounds of food and 9,000 dollars collected represent several things: first, it demonstrates the kind of support the CF is currently receiving from the public across the country; next, it is indicative of how admiring is the Kingston public of their officer-cadets of the Royal Military College; and lastly, it shows how carefully all facets of the project were planned, and what a dedicated group can accomplish when they work to common purpose.
I thank you for having placed everyone at RMC in such fine consideration in the community. We all benefit from your actions, first and foremost the many Kingston families who will make direct use of the proceeds of your efforts. My hat is off to Mr Yoon and the entire Second Year class for a job well done.

Je voudrais saisir cette occasion pour faire briller notre classe de deuxième année, qui avec leur dernière collecte d’aliments, ont exécuté l’un des meilleurs projets de classe des dernières années. La planification a été exemplaire, l’exécution superbe, et les résultats spectaculaires. Les 20,000 livres de nourriture et 9000 dollars amassés représentent plusieurs choses: tout d’abord, cela démontre le niveau de support que les FC reçoivent du public à travers le pays; ensuite, il est révélateur de l’admiration que la population de Kingston a envers leurs élèves-officiers du Collège Militaire Royal; finalement, il montre comment tous les aspects du projet ont été soigneusement planifiés, et ce qu’un groupe dévoué peut accomplir lorsque ses membres travaillent à l’atteinte d’un but commun.
Je vous remercie d’avoir mis tout les membres du CMR face à des considérations favorables provenant de la communauté. Nous bénéficions tous de vos actions, d’abord et surtout les nombreuses familles de Kingston qui utilisent de façon directe le produit de vos efforts. Je lève mon chapeau à M. Yoon et l’ensemble de la classe de deuxième année pour un travail bien fait.
